WORK

The observation of Nature and human behaviour is central to my design work. Biomimicry, ecology and biology all influence the design process. To mimic and use the inherent forms within nature is also a way to explore the relations between people and their environment.

Using digital tools (such as the CNC mill and the lasercutter) I intend to challenge our traditional perception of crafts. Computarised technologies, even though mainly used for mass-production, have the potential to manufacture unique objects.
